About Us

Janes Aquatics is a swim school dedicated to teaching water safety and swimming.  We strive to teach our students how to be safe around the water while having fun swimming. Janes aquatics is also a strong promoter of competitive swimming through our coaching programs. Janes aquatics gives back to the local community by offering coaching for Special Olympic swimmers, as well as teaching water safety and swimming basics to our future military members.

We offer a wide variety of course types that cater to all ages and abilities. Janes Aquatics also offers specialty training in both swimming, and SCUBA / snorkeling. Our class schedules are flexible and we strive to offer classes to fit everyone’s busy schedules.  Our outdoor, 25 yard competition length, 4-9 foot deep, salt water pool is perfect for all of our training needs.

Janes Aquatics’ head instructor, Jeff Janes, has over 35 years competitive swimming and coaching experience - from age group and high school to collegiate and masters levels. Jeff has coached gold medalists, world record holders, and numerous state champions. Jeff has worked as a lifeguard instructor for the Red Cross, YMCA, Ellis National Pool and Waterpark Corporation, and Walt Disney World.  He also has 30 year’s experience as a SCUBA instructor.  Jeff is also a state-certified emergency medical responder.
